QUIKY Delivery is a pickup & drop-off delivery service operated by Zaknetix Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile app, web app, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

Identity & verification (where applicable): government ID or selfie for driver/rider onboarding.
Location data: precise or approximate location to match senders with riders and to track deliveries (foreground; optionally background when you enable “on-duty” tracking for riders).
Order & transaction data: pickup/drop-off addresses, item details (as provided), delivery notes, timestamps, prices, and payment status.
Communications: chat messages or calls made through the app between customers and riders, and messages to support.
Media: photos of parcels or proof-of-delivery signatures where you choose to upload them.
Payment data: we process payments via third-party processors; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
3) How we use information
Provide, operate, and improve the Services, including order creation, matching, navigation, and delivery tracking.
Authenticate users, prevent fraud, and ensure platform safety and integrity.
Enable communications between customers, riders, and support.
Process payments, refunds, promotions, and loyalty or referral programs.
Send important notices about orders, security, and account changes.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
With consent or where permitted, personalize content and measure app performance.
4) Legal bases
Depending on your location, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases: (a) performance of a contract (to deliver your order), (b) legitimate interests (e.g., safety, fraud prevention, and improving the Services), (c) consent (e.g., for certain location tracking or marketing), and (d) compliance with legal obligations. We aim to comply with applicable laws including Nigeria’s NDPR, the GDPR (EU/UK), and the CCPA/CPRA (California), where relevant.
5) Sharing & third parties
We share data only as needed to operate the Services or as required by law:
Riders & customers: limited details are shared to complete a delivery (e.g., first name, pickup/drop-off location, phone masking or in-app chat).
Service providers: cloud hosting, maps & navigation, analytics, customer support, identity verification, and payment processors.
Legal & safety: to comply with lawful requests, enforce terms, or protect rights, property, or safety.
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this policy.
Third-party providers process your data according to our instructions and applicable law.
6) Device permissions
Location: to show nearby riders, calculate routes and ETAs, and provide live tracking. Riders may enable background location while on duty.
Camera & Photos: to scan QR codes, capture parcel photos, and upload proof of delivery.
Microphone/Phone: for optional in-app calling (with masking where available).
Notifications: to alert you about order status, chat messages, and promotions (you can manage this in settings).
7) Retention & security
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS), restricted access controls, and secure credential hashing. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we continually improve our protections.
8) Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, export (data portability), and restrict or object to certain processing. You can exercise many of these rights in the app (Profile > Settings) or by contacting us. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.
9) Children’s privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that a child has provided personal data, we will delete it promptly.
10) International transfers
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
